Mystery Fire Rock Mechanic Workshop In Onitsha

A Mechanic workshop has been gutted by a mysterious fire in Awada, Onitsha area of Onitsha, Anambra State.

The fire incident was said to have occurred around 2am.

An online news portal quoted the Police Public Relations Officer of Anambra State Police Command, SPHaruna Mohammed to have said

“At About 2 am, there was fire outbreak inside a mechanic workshop located at Amanator Street, Awada.

“About 19 vehicles parked at the workshop were affected. While some were completely burnt, others were burnt partially.”

It was gathered that a high tension pole, whose wire passed through the area was also badly affected.

Haruna said, “The fire was eventually put off by the concerted efforts of residents of the area.
