True to expectations and predictions, a former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha has won the governorship primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Ihedioha defeatednfour other aspirants to win the party ticket.
The party primary took place at the Kanu Nwankwo sports complex in Owerri and ended in the wee hours of Tuesday morning after accreditation, voting and eventual counting votes cast by delegates.
This is the second time Ihedioha is winning the PDP governorship ticket having achieved a similar feat in 2015.
