There is a “coup” in Imo State chapter of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA.

The party suspended the State Chairman, Barr.Peter Ezeobi accusing him of being corrupt and anti democratic in handling affairs of the party.

The Chairman’s suspension is a fallout of the crisis in the party after it held its controversial governorship primary.

12 aggrieved aspirants have dragged the party leadership to court over the exercise.

Some officials of the party endorsed including the party’s Organizing Secretary,  Hon Anyanwom Stephen.

The Party Chairman was also accused of poor management of the party which resulted in its abysmal performance in the 2015 elections.

He was also accused alongside some officials of the party.
