*Uche Nwosu, Hope Uzodinma Names Missing*

There is an unending drama in the All Progressive Congress, APC in Imo State as the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, did not list any name as  governorship Candidate of the party  for Imo State  that will take part in next year’s election.

More than 61 political parties produced candidates for various elective positions   according to an INEC List displayed at its headquarters along Owerri- Port Harcourt road.

APC National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole had claimed last week that the party forwarded the name of Senator Hope Uzodinma as the governorship candidate of the party in Imo State.

Uche Nwosu, a son of in law to Governor Rochas Okorocha had also said he remains the governorship candidate of the party anchoring his emergence on a repeat governorship primary held on October 6.

He had also gone to court to stop the party form substituting his name.

Also yesterday, an Abuja Federal High Court had granted an order sought and obtained by some House of Assembly candidates restraining the APC and INEC  from substituting their names as candidates of the party.

The Court order came after some names flew on the social media as candidates of the party for the 27 House of Assembly seats in Imo State.

Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha and the party’s national chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole had been entangled in fireworks over the APC governorship ticket in Imo.

Okorocha is backing his son in law, Uche Nwosu.

However, according to the list, Emeka Ihedioha was listed as the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, while Senator Ifeanyi Araraume was named the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA in Imo State.
