Residents of Owerri were held spell bound over a Dog Walk ceremony organized by Canine Club, Owerri Branch, Imo State.
Other groups who took part in the exercise include members of Association of Dog Breeders who also skillfully displayed various Dog species.
The event was a sight to watch as motorists and residents watched with great amazement different species of dogs.
Speaking to newsmen, President of the Club in the State, Barr.Chijioke Emenalo commended active members of the Club for bringing out their dogs to commemorate the 2018 Dog Walk ceremony.
“We have the capacity to breed dogs which can serve as security of lives and properties of Nigerians” he said.
Mr.Jidere Cyracus, an Agrictech Animal Health consultant said dog business is lucrative and encouraged those who have the ability to go into it not to hesitate to do so.
