U.S Based NGO Offer Humanitarian Aid To Imo Community

Chijan International Humanitarian Foundation,USA, and Ogwa Stakeholders are to dole out free medical services worth millions of naria to members of the public resident in Ogwa Anunu Mgbe Ancient community in Imo State.

 Dr. Victor Onukwugha, President of Ogwa Stakeholders Forum (OSF) who spoke to newsmen in Owerri on Sunday described the organization as a socio economic interventionist group that is committed in ameliorating the needs of the people of the ancient clan.

Onukwugha also said that the two day free comprehensive medical out reach will commence on Monday, 17thDecember, 2018 at Ogwa General Hospital in Mbaitoli Council Area of Imo State.

He pointed out that efforts have been made towards mobilizing participants within the six autonomous communities that constitute Ogwa ancient clan.

The President stated that apart from the six traditional rulers and some eminent personalities from Ogwa, top state government officials especially from the health sector will grace the opening ceremony.

Onukwugha who is Rotary International 9120 District Governor designate assured that members of his organization who are sponsoring the free medical services with their foreign collaborator have resolved to make the event an annual program.

He noted that as part of his commitment to ensuring his people enjoy good health that he and his wife had donated 1,000 mosquito treated nets to be distributed freely to any one that attends event.
