*Uzodinma Shifts Event To Campaign Office.

National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Comrade Adams Oshiomole Friday stormed Owerri for the Flag off of APC Campaign in Imo State.
A sea of heads or rather a mammoth crowd graced event with the highlight of the event being the affirmation of Senator Hope Uzodinma as the governorship candidate of the party in Imo State.
Oshiomole in his speech expressed hope that the APC will retain Imo State in the next elections.
The event took place at the campaign headquarters of Senator Hope Uzodinma located in the heart of Owerri city. This led to traffic gridlock across the city as enthusiastic party supporters thronged the venue of the event as early as 9am.
The camp of the Senator had claimed that the event scheduled to hold at the Dan Anyiam Stadium was shifted to the campaign ground of the Senator on allegations that the State Governor, Rochas Okorocha refused to make the stadia available for the event.
But in a statement by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Sam Onwuemedo, he said the stadia was made available to all candidates of various political parties including the APC by the State Government.
