Hon Mrs Pauline Ezifala Rajis on Friday, December 21, 2018 celebrated her 90th birthday in grand style.
The event, a classic one was held at the Imo International Conference Centre, Owerri and was attended by the Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha and his wife, Her Excellency, Nneoma Nkechi Okorocha.
Other notable personalities in attendance include the Deputy Speaker, Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Ugonna Ozuruigbo.
The ceremony featured gospel rendition, live band, music, dance and presentation of gift items to the celebrant by her children , in laws, grand children, great grand children and well wishers.
In her remarks, Mrs Okorocha described Mrs. Eziafa as a woman of grace who exemplified woman/motherhood.
“It is a great honour celebrating her. Thank you for being an honor of what a good and caring mother ought to be, a woman of grace and substance with inestimable value. The governor has equally extended his good wishes to you, mama. Your children are very responsible because of good parenting”.
Former Nigeria Ambassador to Singapore, Amb Nonye Rajis, daughter of the celebrant, her first son, Prof Alex Rajis and grandson, Barr Ndukwe Ibekwe, described their mother as a colossus, an amazon who has done wonderful selfless service to humanity and contributed to the peace and development of the community.
“We are heartily celebrating Mama and thanking God for blessing her with long life and economic prosperity. We are indeed celebrating sacrificial motherhood for good thing comes from God “.
While cutting her birthday cake, the celebrant, Hon Mrs Pauline Eziafa Rajis, thanked God for keeping her to 90 years of age. She appreciated those who came to celebrate and identify with her and her family.
