AA is the new political abode of loyalists of Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha after the APC handed it’s governorship ticket to Senator Hope Uzodinma.

19 members of the House of Assembly had defected to the AA. 17 of them are of the APC while 2 lawmakers came from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Nwosu last Tuesday said he had to quit the APC for AA citing injustice, impunity and lack of respect for party Constitution as his reasons.

The defection of the 27 Local governm Governmentent Chairmen and Councillors to the AA is  part of a grand design to secure  grassroot support for Mr.Nwosu’s governorship ambition ahead of elections in 2019.

Also this newspaper was told that some members of the APC State Executive are also on the move to the AA to drum support for Nwosu.

Next year’s governorship election in Imo State will certainly be everyone’s delight as four major political parties scramble for the State number one job.
