Chelsea have wrapped up their first January transfer business with the signing of Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund for 64m euros(£58m), but will remain at the Signal Iduna Park till the end of the season.
It was gathered that the 20-year ended what has been a transfer tug of war between Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea.
The American joined Dortmund as a youth player in 2015 and has gone on to lift the German Cup in 2017, having nine goals in 23 caps for his native country.
His contract with the German club was due to expire in June 2020.
