The governorship candidate of Action Alliance (AA) in Imo State, His Excellency Ugwumba Uche Nwosu has made it clear that his administration will be driven by God Almighty and everything he does as governor of Imo State shall be designed in such a way to bring praise and honor to the Almighty God.
The real estate development expert and award winning town planner stated this on the sidelines of a ceremony to commission a state-of-the-art edifice built by the Rescue Mission administration to house the Secretariat of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Owerri the Imo State capital. The ceremony was performed by the governor of Imo State, His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha in the presence of many Christian clergy and national officers of the non denominational and ecumenical audience.
Speaking on the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony, the governorship candidate praised the governor of Imo State, His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha for restoring God to the driving seat in the affairs of the State and restoring righteousness to governance.
“I applaud our governor for restoring reverence for God in our politics. Like King Josiah of the Bible, he has rebuilt God’s House and demolished demonic temples and any form of idol worship in our dear State. This edifice donated to the Christian Association of Nigeria is one of the many Godly acts of our governor. Already there is one Chapel in the headquarters of every LGA in the State and one of the most beautiful architectural wonders as the State chapel where we offer praises and worship to Almighty God. This is significant, because there is no more room for any form of occultic practices or idol worship in our dear State. Imo is spiritually, economically and politically free.”
“I am a product of God’s Grace and for everything I will do as governor, the fear of God will guide me. I shall do them to bring glory and honor to the name of the Almighty God. My becoming governor is first through the help of God Almighty and the people of Imo State. The best way I can show respect to God Almighty is by serving my people with honesty.”
The newly commissioned Secretariat of the Christian Association of Nigeria in Imo State is the best State Secretariat of CAN in Nigeria and both the clergy and laity have praised the Rescue Mission administration for recording this rare feat and have assured him of the prayers of all Christians in Nigeria for his success and good health.
