Counting of votes in some polling units was disrupted abruptly in Owerri, Imo State by a heavy downpour during Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections

The rain began at about 3.30 pm and flooded most of the polling stations with voters and INEC officials taking shelter.

At Emmanuel College, Owerri, all the polling units were submerged in flood, while party agents got drenched after squatting a corner.
