The triumph of Rt.Hon.Emeka Ihedioha at the poll during the just concluded governorship election in Imo state continues to attract men of goodwill as Awo-idemili,Orsu Local Government Area born international businessman and Philathropist,Prince Christopher Obi(OGAZI) applauds his emergence.
The Community leader and youthful Philanthropist told select Journalists in his Ogazi Villa,Awo-idemili recently that the emergence of Ihedioha could be seen as gift ordained to assuage the cries of Imolites whose heartbeat has been on continuously towards seeing the end of the present Rescue mission administration.
According to him,this can only be seen as an act of God, and called on the indigenes of the State to cooperate with the Governor-elect in his desire to rebuild the fallen state of our public service and infrastructure across the state.
The Chief Executive Officer,Reality Oil and Gas Ltd maintained that the indigenes of Imo state must be commended for their undivided support and stand on the platform of posterity in voting and protecting votes cast for Rt.Hon Ihedioha despite alleged hostilities across the state.
Prince Obi said that the Governor-elect is a gift to Imo state indigenes especially true lovers of development as he comes to the governance seat with years of experience in public administration.
Moreso, he states that the emergence of Rt.Hon Ihedioha is timely with the aim of ressurecting people held in political bondage and promised that the Governor-elect will put smiles on the faces of numerous groaning over the recent mal-administration in the state.
The Orsu LGA born rural development advocate and oil and gas magnet stated that the Peoples Democratic Party’s(PDP) candidate and governor-elect traversed the nooks and crannies of the state during his campaign and deserved the victory and, insisted that the roboust campaign structure put up by the ex-deputy Speaker of the House of Representative affords him the opportunity to have first-hand with the challenges of the people across the state.
However, he frowned at certain reports relating to certain National Assembly contest in the state and called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to take a look at the lapses recorded in the recent electoral management and work towards correcting same in subsequent elections especially in the re-run elections across the nation.
He encouraged INEC to deplore more technological tools to enable timely transmission of results from the Polling booths to forestall forms of tampering with peoples’ votes as cast.
