President Muhammdu Buhari, met behind closed doors with the outgoing Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Monday
Details of the meeting were not disclosed.
This is Governor Okorocha’s first meeting with the President after he was suspended by the National Working Committee, NWC of the All Progressive Congress, APC for alleged anti party activities.
The Governor contested the senatorial seat for Imo West senatorial election on February 23 and was declared winner of the election.
But his Certificate of Return was withheld by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INECÂ which said he was declared winner under durees
The Imo State Governor has gone to court to challenge the decision of the commission. Â
