Imo State Governor elect, Hon Emeka Ihedioha has constituted a Transition Technical Committee headed by Prof Ernest Ebi.
Former Minister of Aviation, Dr. Mrs Kema Chikwe is Vice Chairman of the committee.
According to a statement by Chibuike Onyeukwu, media assistant to the Governor elect, the committee is sub divided into 12 committees. Each of the committees a Chairman and Secretary. Some of the sub committees have a Deputy Chairman.
The sub committees are : Projects and Review sub Committee, Finance Review and Funding Initiative subcommittee, Integrated Infrastructure sub Committee, Human Capital Development sub Committee, Good Governance Sub Committee, Agriculture, Commerce and Industries sub Committee, Job and Wealth Creation subcommittee, Tourism and Hospitality sub Committee, Talents and Opportunities Sub Committee, Security Sub Committee, Diaspora Initiatives Sub Committee, Owerri Town Planning Sub Committee,
Former Super Eagles captain, Kanu Nwankwo is a member of the sub committee on Talents and Opportunities committee.Former Ministers, Dr (Mrs) Viola Onwuliri and Engr. Charles Ugwu made the cut.
Former Governorship aspirants, Mr. Casmir Anyanwnu, Marcel Ochiama and Deputy Governorship candidate of the United Progressive Party, UPP, Nnaemeka Obiareri are members of the committee.
