Eminent Nigerians from various walks of life including Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal,Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, Imo State Governor elect, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, Former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, Former Imo State Governors, Achike Udenwa, Ikedim Ohakim, elder statesman, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyawnu,Former Edo State Governor, Lucky Igbnedion were all in Amii- Akabor community in Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State to attend the funeral of former Vice President, Pan Africa Parliament and former member of House of Representatives, Hon. Bethel Amadi.
The funeral church service took place at St. Stephens Anglican Church, Akabo Ikeduru Imo state.
One of those who attended the ceremony, Prince Oluchukwu Nwansi, urged the family of the deceased to bear the loss of Late Amadi them stating that only God knows better.
