The South East zone of the All Progressive Congress, APC is to meet this weekend to deliberate on sharing of leadership positions in the incoming 9th National Assembly.
The meeting will hold in Enugu and is coming on the heels of allegations leveled against the APC National Chairman who has been accused of orchestrating a 2023 presidential agenda of the National leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The crucial meeting is convened by the National Vice Chairman, South East zone, Emma Eneukwu.
Other issues on the agenda of the meeting, according to a reliable source who spoke to this newspaper, include repositioning the party in the South East after the 2019 general elections.
Recall that the national leadership of APC led by its chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, had earlier zoned the two topmost positions in the National Assembly, the Senate President and Speaker of House of Representatives, to the North East and South West, respectively.
