Imo State Governor elect, Hon Emeka Ihedioha, CON, has said he remains optimistic that the present challenges, no matter the enormity will by the grace of God give way to a prosperous Imo State .

In his Easter message signed on his behalf by his Media Aide, Chibuike Onyeukwu, Ihedioha said there is need for the people to rededicate themselves to the service of the State.

“I am very optimistic that the present challenges, no matter the enormity, will by the grace of God, give way to a prosperous state when we rededicate ourselves to the service our dear state.

“Easter is all about sacrifice, selflessness and altruism. As believers, we share the bond of divinity as children of God when we commit ourselves to the task of bettering the lot of fellow human beings. As Imolites, perhaps, the biggest sacrifice we are called upon to make today, is to join hands in rebuilding our state.”

“I, therefore, call on all the good people of Imo State to join us in this rebuilding project, as I extend my hands of fellowship to all who believe that the Imo of collective dream is possible.

The Governor-elect re-affirmed his commitment to rebuilding Imo State through visionary, selfless leadership built on the ethos of sacrifice that will engender hope and foster peace and unity.
