AFCON 2019: Rohr Speaks On Victor Moses

Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr has expressed hope on the return of Victor Moses back to the national team saying the he is ready to welcome the 28 year old forward.

Moses had quit the Super Eagles after a six year international career after the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia

Rohr however said he will not beg the Fernerbahe of Turkey forward to overturn his decision. He insists he will nor kneel to have Moses change his mind.

However, Rohr insists he will not beg Moses to overturn his decision.

“We tried to convince him not to withdraw but he made his choice.

“If he comes back on this decision, it’s up to him to tell us. We are open to dialogue but we will not kneel to ask a player to return,” Rohr told Goal.
