PDP, Others Allege Plans To Abort Handover In Imo On May 29

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has alleged of a plot to scuttle the swearing in of Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, Governor elect, Imo State on May 29

A post by State Secretary of the Party,Hon Nze Ray Emeana  reads  ”Some litigants rented by Rochas Okorocha/Uche Nwosu have filed a fresh action at the Federal High court Owerri seeking to restrain the swearing-In of RT Hon Emeka Ihedioha as Gov. on May 29,2019.

“All LGA Party Chairmen, all Party Officers from Owerri Municipal, Owerri North and Owerri West, all Party and Ihedioha support groups in and around Owerri should assemble at the Federal High Court, Court 2, by 9am for solidarity with H.E. Emeka Ihedioha.

Also, a political strategist, and Director General of Imo Liberation Movement, Comrade Emeka Nwokeke also made a similar allegation.

He warned  those faceless groups to be mindful of implication of their action as it will be resisted by the people of Imo state, who through their collective will, overwhelmingly elected Rt. Hon Ihedioha as their governor in the 9th of March, 2019 governorship polls.
