Leaders are born not made and a leader isn’t necessarily the man in the front.

Once again the above mentioned association is about to elect from their vast pool of their bright men and women into the executive leadership of their association. I therefore, uses this opportunity to call upon our wise people of Mbaise to do the needful in order to bring out their best guns once again to take our association forward and to much greater hights .

My vote of thanks goes to our executive President , Hon. IFEANYI ONWUAMAIZU. This illustrious son of the soil, have shown our Mbaise clan what leadership entails. Under his leadership, most sons and daughters of Mbaise were empowered and encouraged in the areas of entrepreneurship; children of our deceased members and brothers were aided in some forms of scholarships; Mbaise’s self worth and pride was restored once again, peace and harmony promoted among ourselves. We should not also forget that it was his initiative to bring Mbaise sons and daughters in Southern Africa under one respectful umbrella–“COMISA”. Off course, it’s during his tenor in office that the jinx was broken and gotcha!—- Mbaise produced a governor since the history of East Central States. On that note please allow me to say:–

My able Presido, may you and your wisdom keep dwelling with us all and especially with the incoming executives. IJN.

My respectable brothers and sisters; as we inch closer to elect our new leaderships, let us do so by looking towards the direction of personalities and another capable hands to continue steering us in that directions of good wills; growth; togetherness and care for one another.

More also, let me use this medium to thank those who supported RT HON EMEKA IHEDIOHA as the new governor of Imo State such as his political director in South Africa –His Highness Eze Gilbert Nwanna (Eze Mbaise na South ); Chief Douglas Alozie ( Arusi Mbaise and grand patron of NWASA); Patron Pastor Chris Oguala; Patron Innocent Maduako ( Alhaji ); Patron Roland; Roland Gubor ( Duke ) ; Chika Agbakwuru and Agbakwuru’s family as well as our immeasurably quality members of our association.

At the same time, I would not forget to mention my charismatic brother EMEKA OSUIGWE and my endorsement to him for the presidency of the association. My advice also goes to who ever that would be elected as the treasurer to be a man of integrity and honesty and a person of non questionable character with good means of livelihood.

My brother Hon.Chimezie Njoku, your courage to take the bull by the horn was something courageous and worthwhile of a worthy man. Although we may have disagreed in ideology and political principle, your steadfastness to keep Mbaise flag high under APC banner is a stoic approach only found in men of valur. I honour you indeed my friend and brother. On the other hand, your are highly welcomed in the fold of PDP should you wish to reconsider your choice for political home now or in near future and that is a brotherly advice.

My great people of Mbaise, we are back in the making of yet another history, this time led by our beloved kinsman RT HON EMEKA IHEDIOHA-nma. Let us not knowingly tarnish the image of Mbaise or that of our governor elect . Let us wear his face with pride! , Let us be ambassadors of one great Mbaise nation.
