Court Orders DA Candidate To Pay 5M For Attempting To Disrupt Ihedioha’s Swearing In


A Federal High Court sitting in Owerri has ruled that Mr.Clifford Eze, governorship candidate of the Democratic Alternative,DA during the governorship election in the State, had no right whatsoever to approach the Court for a post election matter.

The Presiding Judge, Justice P.A Ringim, in his judgement struck out the matter saying the court lacked the jurisdiction to entertain the suit and awarded 5 million cost against him.

The DA governorship candidate had approached the Court to halt the inauguration of Hon Emeka Ihedioha as Governor of Imo State on May 29.
