Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has  received fresh salvos from former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi for saying the Igbo have no chance of producing Nigeria’s President after the expiration of President Muhammadu Buhari’s tenure in 2023
Obi who was Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the 2019 presidential election mocked the former Rivers State Governor for the comment.
He spoke in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital, saying Amaechi was not in a position to make such comment as he failed to deliver the APC in Rivers State.
“ Even he that’s in the APC didn’t contribute anything to the success of that election. He didn’t achive anything in his own State.
It would be recalled that Amaechi had said he would have helped in making a case for Igbo presidency in 2023 if they had supported President Buhari in the 2019 general election.
