Okorocha Bows Out,As Ihedioha Gets Set To Step In As Imo Governor


Rochas Okorocha has stepped out as Imo State Governor as Hon.Emeka Ihedioha is set to be sworn in as the Sixth Executive Governor of Imo State today, May 29, 2019

Okorocha spoke at an event to mark his pull out from Government House, Owerri on Tuesday making his last speech as Imo State Governor.

” I have often said to people that I m but a tenant who has come on a Rescue Mission, knowing that one day, my tenancy would be over. Let me inform all of you Imolites that my tenancy is over” he said

Highlight of the event was a pull out ceremony to signal his exit from office.

With Okorocha’s exit all is now set for the swearing in of Hon.Emeka Ihedioha as the Sixth Civilian Governor of Imo State.

Series of events which started with an interdenominational Church Service on Sunday, a Novelty Match and an Inaugural lecture has been ongoing leading to swearing in ceremony which holds later today
