Staying focused with an eye to achieving the key objectives of the Rebuild Imo Agenda has been Identified as the route to the sucess of the incoming administration in Imo State.
This was disclosed by Hon Emma Okereke (Igodo) a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Owerri municipal and a reputable contractor in the State.
Speaking to newsmen in Owerri, Okereke while congratulating the Governor Elect and the member representing Owerri Municipal State Constituency in the Imo House of Assembly, Hon.Solomon Anokam on their victories , said Ihedioha posses the relevant experience to perform while in office
He said he has studied the steps taken by the Governor Elect and he remains convinced that he has the experience and capacity to take Imo State to the next level.
He said having occupied one of the most high public offices in the country such as the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, he remains optimistic that Ihedioha will restore smiles on the faces of Imolites who have not had so good in the last eight years.
He said ” I believe in his capacity to deliver. I only advise him to stay focused and I believe he will. From what he has done so far, I remain very convinced that the people of Imo State made a unique choice by electing Ihedioha as Governor.
” I have watched him very closely. He is very much in control of his thoughts, vision and plans for the State. He talks less but has strong conviction.
“Setting up a Transition Technical Commitee to chart the way forward for our State is highly commendable.It shows he is a man that really took his time to under study the problems of the State even before he joined the governorship race.
” He has my support, total support and I call on the people of the State to give him all the support he needs to succeed.
Okereke popularly called Igodo for his numerous philanthropic activities, also hailed Member Elect, Owerri municipal State Constituency, Hon.Solomon Anokam, on his victory to the State legislature
He said ” I believe in him. He is a young man but very capable to give Owerri people effective representation in the House of Assembly.
” Together with the Governor Elect, Owerri people will benefit a lot from the new government. All they need is staying focused and with God on their side, we shall all succeed.
