Wenger Speaks On Reyes Death

Former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has said he is devastated on the death of his former player, Antonio Reyes

Reyes died in a tragic accident at 1140 hours on the A- 376 motorway, from Seville to Utrera on Saturday.

Spanish club, Sevilla, confirmed his death at the age of 35 years.

Reyes had played for Real Madrid and Sevilla as a forward. He had also played for Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Benfica and won the Europa league with five teams.

News of his death came as a shock to the sporting world.

Wenger, who signed Reyes in 2004 during his time at Arsenal, told beIN Sports: “I am devastated to hear the terrible news about Jose.”
