Ihedioha Reads Riot Act, Demands Proper Handover From Okorocha


Imo State Governor, Hon.Emeka Ihedioha has ordered the Principal Secretary to former Governor Rochas Okorocha to prepare a proper hand over of documents of all Government properties before 12 midnight tomorrow, June 4.

The Governor in a tweet Monday afternoon wrote “I have ordered the Principal Secretary to Former Governor Rochas Okorocha and the Head of Imo State Civil Service to prepare a handover document of all Government properties before 12 am midnight tomorrow, 4th June, 2019”

Ihedioha had on Monday sworn in Secretary to the State Government, Hon.Uche Onyeagocha and his Chief of Staff, Barr.Chris Okewulonu at Government House, Owerri.

The Governor had said he never received any handover documents from his predecessor, Rochas Okorocha.

He accused the former Governor of not being ready to hand over to him.
