Nigeria Becomes First Country To Qualify For AFCON Knock Out Stage

Super Eagles of Nigeria have emerged the first team to qualify for the knock out phase of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations ongoing in Egypt.

They beat Guinea 1-0 on Wednesday putting them in pole position of Group B after beating Burundi 1- 0 last weekend.

Kenneth Omeruo gave the Eagles the break through after he rose so high to head in Moses Simon’s cross in the 73rd minute.

Nigeria now have six points ahead of their final group match against Madagascar.
