Appointment Seekers and expectant Commissioner nominees are waiting with bated breadth as Imo State Governor, Hon.Emeka Ihedioha, submits list of would be commissioners to the State House of Assembly.
Ihedioha had last week during a meeting with stakeholders said he will submit the list of commissioners to the State House of Assembly.
The State Deputy Governor, Gerald Irona, had assured last week that most of the commissioner nominees would be professionals and experts in various fields who will aid the present administration to achieve its Rebuild Imo Agenda.
But this newspaper gathered that despite the posture of the Governor to get in experts, party chieftains who took active part in the coming on board of the present government are still very hopeful that they will make the cut.
News had hit the Social media at the weekend that some party leaders are up against the nomination of some chieftains of the party from being appointed. This could not be verified as at press time.
There is however palpable tension among the party chieftains that they will make the cut judging from the antecedents of the Governor who seems to have rewarded loyal party members in his recent appointments.
