The leaders of Ohaji clan in Ohaji/Egbema LGA under aegis of Ogbako Ohaji have commended the government of Governor Emeka Ihedioha and his Deputy Hon. Gerald Irona for reinstating Imo State Polytechnic and constituting of ISOPADEC Board and management.

They made the commendation on Wednesday during their leadership meeting convened by Dr. Goddy Esom Obodo in Owerri.

The meeting was attended by leaders from various sectors.

They debated extensively on the issues concerning Imo State Polytechnic especially as it regards to its upgrading to University by the immediate past government of Imo State and the need to consider Staff of the institution who hail from Ohaji clan, during the appointment of vital management position officers.

They also expressed satisfaction with the State government over the caliber of leaders that were appointed in ISOPADEC and they promised to remain committed and supportive towards the actualization of the rebuilding Imo State project.

In a resolution read by their apex leader Dr. Goddy Esom Obodo, he said ” we are grateful, we are happy and we are appreciating the government, Governor Emeka Ihedioha and his Deputy Hon. Gerald Irona for the caliber of people they took from Ohaji for ISOPADEC”.

“We resolved that Imo Polytechnic has come to stay and Ohaji people will be interested if government consider them in some management positions and we pray that they will continue to remember Ohaji”. Obodo stated.
