Imo:Commitee On Assets Recovery Open Up On Items Recovered

The Commitee on Assets Recovery in Imo State has revealed how it recovered sixty vehicles, several generators and other items from officials of the past government in Imo State.

Chairman of the Commitee, Jasper Ndubuaku, said aside these items, others recovered include two asphalt plants, hospital equipments and chairs.

According to a post on social media by the SA on Public Enlightenment to Imo Governor,Prince Ugochukwu, Ndubuaku maintained that the warehouse belonging to the wife of the immediate past Governor was stuffed with items bearing government crests and logos.

He said even those without logos were easily recognizable from where they were taken originally including plenty of chairs which was removed from the International Conference Centre, ICC, Owerri.

He said the commitee has resorted to use of whistle blowing to aid it’s operations.

” Our whistleblowing policy is still operational. If you help us, we will put down your name for recognition. Our people are helping out” he said.
