Legal fireworks continued at the Imo State Election Petitions Tribunal, sitting in Owerri where counsel to Ihedioha maintained that Uche Nwosu has withdrawn his case and therefore not worthy to continue in the matter let alone challenge the outcome of the election.
They maintained that Nwosu’s matter is not for the Tribunal as the case file is at the Appeal Court Owerri and not at the Election petition Tribunal.
The highpoint of the case was the appearance of Uche Nwosu, the AA Governorship Candidate.
Witnesses brought by Uche Nwosu made strong defense of their case.Among those who testified include Kenneth Emelu Nkiru Oluehi, Dr.Cyril Okafor, Dr.Okey Anukem, Barr. Ijeoma Igboanusi and others.
They all went through cross examination.
One of the witnesses, Hon Barr. Ijeoma Igboanusi, when asked by Ihedioha’s lawyers that some of the result sheets and papers did not appear in some papers and results, she said it is not important for his name to appear in all pages of the result sheets.
Another witness, Nkiru Oluchi, who sweated profusely while she testified said crisis broke out at her ward and the result sheets altered.
The matter dragged on if Uche Nwosu is the authentic governorship candidate of the Action Alliance.
Ihedioha’s lawyers insisted that AA has no candidate, a claim roundly objected to by Nwosu’s witnessed who took time to testify before the Tribunal.
