Liverpool Manager: Why Sadio Mane Was Angry When He Was Substituted

Liverpool Manager, Jurgen Klopp, has revealed reasons why his striker Sadio Mane was visibly angry on the bench after he was substituted in an EPL game between the Reds and Burnley on Saturday.

“Sadio Mane is an emotional guy, we are all individuals.

“Something went not like he wanted, it is not the substitution. We will clarify it in the dressing room,” Klopp told Sky Sports.

The Senegalese was substituted for Divock Origi after failing to get a pass from Mohammed Salah when the game was 3-0.

He was seen comforted by fellow goalscorer Roberto Firmino, who had also just been replaced.
