Legal hostilities continued at the Imo State Election Petition Tribunal, sitting in Owerri on Monday when counsel to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ken Njemanze, SAN cross examined the governorship candidate of the Action Alliance, AA, Uche Nwosu.

The proceedings came on the heels of a ruling by a Federal High Court which had ruled that Uche Nwosu’s name should be removed as a governorship candidate of the AA on the grounds that he had dual nominations as AA and APC governorship candidate at the same time.

Njemanze reminded Mr.Nwosu at the tribunal of a Federal High Court in Abuja which voided his nomination and disqualified him as candidate of the AA.

Nwosu said he is not aware of the case and he was never a candidate of the APP nor APC. He said the case was time barred as he had in his possession a ruling of the Supreme Court
