APC To Buhari: Federal Govt Should Take Over Shoprite, MTN, DSTV

Following deadly attacks on Nigerians in South Africa, this newspaper gathered that Nigeria’s ruling party, the All Progressive Congress, APC have urged President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government to take over South Africa businesses in the country including Shoprite, MTN and DSTV.

The party made the demand at an emergency meeting of the National Working Committee, NWC, Abuja.on Thursday in Abuja

Further details on the outcome of the meeting are being awaited.

The Federal Government had withdrawn its delegation to the World Economic Forum and its Ambassador in South Africa to signal its displeasure on xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa.

South Africa had also shut down its embassy in the country.
