The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Imo State has congratulated the State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha on his 100 days in office.
A statement signed by the Chairman, Chris Akaraonye reads:
“The Executive and members of the Imo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) hearthly felicitates with the digital Governor of Imo State, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha on the celebration of his 100 days in office.
“In this 100 days, Your Excellency has proved that his mantra to “Rebuild Imo” would be a mission accomplished.
“Your Excellency’s sound achievements in 100 days is worthy of mention which includes flag-off of massive road construction and reconstruction of major and rural roads within Owerri Municipal and rural communities in the state, putting in place Operation Iron Gate Security Network, permanent verification of Imo pensioners, remodeling of Imo Technical Schools and bringing back due process in the civil service aside others.
“The NUJ Imo State Council uses this opportunity to once more pledge its unalloyed support to Your Excellency’s administration as well as to partner with you in your vision to Rebuild Imo State to enable the people enjoy dividends of democracy.
“We pray that God will continue to protect and guide you in piloting the affairs of the state.
