Federal Roads In Imo Approved For Rehabilitation Revealed

Imo State will benefit from about N182 billion naria approved for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of various federal roads across the country..

The Federal Executive Council at a meeting presided by President Muhammadu Buhari approved among other roads, the two outstanding sections of Nnewi-Okigwe road in Imo and Anambra States at the cost of N12.7 billion naria.

This was revealed by the Minister of State for Works and Housing, Alhaji Abubakar Aliyu, at the end of the maiden FEC meeting held at the Presidential Council Chamber, Abuja.

According to him, the Aba-Owerri road will be rehabilitated and would cost N6.98 billion naira.
