In keeping with the Rebuild Imo Project to restore qualitative education in our schools, the Governor Emeka Ihedioha through the ministry of education led by Prof Viola Onwuliri has instituted an Annual Science Festival Competition for government approved private secondary schools and all public secondary schools in the State.
The maiden edition according to the ministry of education is scheduled to commence on Monday 30th September, 2019 with the grand finale on the Wednesday 30th October, 2019, through four competition levels; the local government area, zonal, then the Pre State and State Grand Finale at the Government Secondary School, Owerri.
There is no gain saying that this land mark achievement of the Rebuild Imo government will reposition, improve and encourage the teaching and learning of science related subjects in the public schools to comply to the digital age of the changing World.
Participants are billed to take part in Science quiz, debate and exhibition, as stated in the time table for the festival drawn by the ministry of education
