The welfare of Igbos will feature prominently in discussions between South East Governors and President Muhammadu Buhari which will take place soon.
The News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, reports that this was disclosed by Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi while briefing newsmen on the outcome of the governor’s meeting in Enugu
“We resolved that we are going to meet the President over the welfare of our people. When we come back we will tell you the details of the meeting
NAN also reports that Governors of Abia, Ebonyi, and Enugu States and the Deputy Governor of Imo State attended the meeting.
Also in attendance include leader of the South East National Assembly Caucus, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, President General of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo, Chief Nnia Nwodo and leaders from the zone.
