Court Rules On PDP Candidate’s Petition Challenging Imo Assembly Member Election


The Court of Appeal sitting in Owerri has ruled on a petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP challenging the election of Hon.Uju Onwudiwe of the Action Alliance, AA as member representing Njaba State constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly.

The Court favoured the petition filed by Hon.Charles Abia of the PDP and ordered a re run to be held within 90 days in 12 polling units in the constituency.
