NHA Kicks Against Multiple Taxation On Hotels

The National President,Nigeria Hotels Association,Eze Patrick C.Anyanwu,has passionately appealed to the Federal Government to address the issue of multiple taxation imposed on hotels in the country especially in Imo,Kaduna and Kano states.


Addressing newsmen,recently in Bauchi,Eze Anyanwu, who described the hotel industry as one of the important institutions in the country, pointed out that they are operating under harsh economic situations,adding”We appeal to the Federal Government to come to our aid with regard to the multiple taxation imposed on us by state governors”


While commending the Federal Government for the sustainable peace and stability in the country,he however,enjoined her to improve the economic situation in the nation in order to alleviate the sufferings the people.


Eze Anyanwu urged government to map out strategies that will curb the insecurity in the country,including kidnapping,armed robbery and the activities of herders.


He used the opportunity to wish all Nigerians a happy and prosperous new year.
