N60 Billion Investment In Imo Set To Take Off

The much talked about $50 million dollar investment (N60bn) proposed by AfriExim Bank for Imo State received a major boost yesterday when Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha CON presented a Certificate of Occupancy for a land to officials of the Bank.

The land is to be used for the construction of a N60 billon naira state of the art Testing/Certification and Quality Control Center by the Bank.

Governor Ihedioha CON presented the C Of O to the Bank President, Prof Benedict Oramah at Government House, Owerri.

He later led officials of the Bank to the site at Ngor Okpala local government where the Centre will be built.

The Centre is expected to serve as a huge business hub for the South East and South South zones.

The Afri Exim Bank is noted for financing, promoting and expanding intra- African and external African trade.
