Former Imo State Governor and senator representing Imo West in the senate, Senator Rochas Okorocha, has said the APC in Imo State has now become a large family, thus there is need to bury the past.

In his address to the people of Okigwe North at Anara Central School field, at a mega rally for the APC candidate for the Federal Constituency rerun, Miriam Onuoha, Okorocha recalled the crisis and imbroglio which had tore the party to shreds during and after the state congress and national convention.

Okorocha called on Prince Marcellinus Nlemigbo, the APC state Chairman to run an open door policy in the party that will incorporate his (Okorocha) boys.

“APC is now a large family. Although we know that we still have some areas we need to mend fences, what is important is that APC family has won an election

While calling on party members to rally round support for Governor Uzodinma, he assured that everything will be taken care of.

It would be recalled that the APC almost tore to shreds during the scramble for the governorship ticket of the party.

While Okorocha wanted his son in law, Uche Nwosu, to fly the party’s governorship flag, Senator Hope Uzodinma, eventually picked the ticket and had the backing of the National Working Commitee, NWC, led by Adams Oshiomole.
