The Supreme Court was filled to the brim Tuesday morning as the apex court adjourned hearing on the review application filed by Emeka Ihedioha of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP challenging the January 14 judgement of the apex Court.
The judgement had ousted Ihedioha from office and declared Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressive Congress as Imo State Governor.
The case was adjourned to March 2nd, 2020.
Ihedioha’s lead counsel and former Minister of Justice,Kanu Agabi,SAN sought for time to enable parties to file more necessary papers.
Uzodinma’s lawyers never objected to the request.
The 7 man panel of the apex court led by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN,Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, in a brief ruling, granted the request for an adjournment and adjourned the matter to March 2, 2020.
