Members of Imo State House of Assembly, have called on Governor Hope Uzodinma to appoint Interim Management Committees in the 27 local governments of the State.
The motion for the appointment of the LGAs was moved by member representing Aboh Mbaise constituency, Hon.Eddy Obinna
He said with the interim management Commitee Chairmen in place at the local governments, they would better handle the challenge of Coronavirus in the hinterlands.
“Now that the coronavirus is ravaging the country, they will help to reach out to the grassroots. This is the best time to have them in place” he said.
