Ohaneze Ndi Igbo Youth Council, has advised President Muhamamdu Buhari, to appoint an Igbo, as his Chief of Staff, to replace Malam Abba Kyari who died of complications from covid 19 infection.
A statement by OYC President, Mazi Okechukwu Isigozoro, he sympathized with the President on the death of Abba Kyari
“Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide is sympathetic towards the tragic and unfortunate death of late Mallam Abba kyari, who’s is a prominent casualty of the coronavirus pandemic.
“OYC appeal to President Muhammadu Buhari to look inwardly and rethink on the need to make amendments and clear doubts about his stance as the father of Nigeria by appointing a New Chief of Staff from the South, especially from the Igbo speaking areas of Niger Delta or South East.”
“OYC insists that there are capable and trusted allies of President Muhammadu Buhari since his entrance into politics in 2023 till date from the old Eastern Region, a Chief of Staff from the East will undoubtedly add flavor and rejig the Presidency activities….”
The OYC said an Igbo Chief of Staff will unite the country and end secessionist movement in the South.
“It will bring in transparency in governance and strategic stability to the economy, this is the most patriotic but rare opportunity for President Muhammadu Buhari to heal Nigeria from disintergration and collapse .
