Senator Ifeanyi Araraume seems to be gaining upper hand within the corridors of power with the appointment of his ally, Barr Emma Nwosu, as Board member of Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission by President Muhammadu Buhari.
This has got political analysts wondering how the Senator’s man made the cut when naturally such high profile appointments should be a nominee of the State Governor, who is the leader of the party in the state.
Governor Hope Uzodinma is a known to have the ears of the Presidency but his inability to have his men for consideration for federal appointments lately, is beginning to raise eyebrows.
Imo APC parades galaxy of political gladiators such as Governor Hope Uzodinma, Senator Ifeanyi Araraume, former Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, Minister of State, Education, Hon Emeka Nwajiuba, among others.
Some of the juicy federal appointments that have come to the state have been snapped by those in Araraume’s camp lately.
An Araraume ally, Hon Stanley Nzekwe had been appointed Secretary, FCTA Agriculture and Rural Development Secretariat, ARDS, another Federal job.
Some analysts contend that the Senator’s latest upper-hand, could be attributed to emerging dynamics in power circles in Abuja, which seems to be favouring the serial governorship candidate who has set his sights on Okigwe senatorial seat.
