The Interim Management Committee Chairman, of Mbaitoli Local Government Area, (LGA) Mr John Eke on Monday dedicated his office to God with a few of the staff of the LGA in attendance.

The dedication service was conducted by the resident pastor of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM) in Owerri Rev. Nnyene Etibeng with three other members of the Church.

Rev Etibeng urged the TC Chairman to rule the people of Mbaitoli in the fear of God, as his appointment is God ordained.

He said that like what is written in the Bible when the wicked is on the throne the people suffer but when the righteous are on the throne the people rejoice, asking Eke to be a righteous ruler to bring the needed dividend to the people of the land.

He congratulated him for his appointment as the TC chairman by Gov. Hope Uzodinna and urged him not to betray the trust reposed on him.

Mr Eke thanked God for the opportunity to serve his community and the local government and promised to do his best to promote good ideals and due process for the progress of the area.

The TC Chairman also expressed gratitude to His Excellency Gov. Uzodinna for finding him worthy for the appointment and promised to deliver his programmes and policies to the people of Mbaitoli.

He called on the people of Mbaitoli to support the administration of the governor who has done so much in appointment of the sons and daughters of Mbaitoli.

He thanked the pastor and his team for finding time to come and dedicate the office for its smooth take off and requested him to continue to lift him in prayers for him to succeed.
