President Muhammadu Buhari, has directed that Madagascar’s cure for coronavirus be picked up.
Madagascar had prepared a drug named “covid organics” for the prevention and cure of the virus.
Secretary to the government of the federation, Boss Mustapha, who made this revelation at Monday’s daily briefing of the Presidential Task Force on Covid 19, said President Buhari has directed the task force to pick up the drug.
Reports indicate that the consignment coming to Nigeria has been dispatched to Equatorial Guinea where it will be shipped to Abuja
Mustapha said Madagascar donated some of the products to Nigeria through Guinea-Bissau and arrangements were being made to pick them up.
He, however, stated that Buhari has ordered that the products be subjected to validation process after they have been picked up.
