In A Flashback Photo, Ohakim Tells Uzodinma, Ihedioha, ‘We Are One Political Family’

Former Imo State Governor, Ikedi Ohakim, Wednesday, took to his verified face-book handle to sue for peace among political gladiators in the state.

Ohakim posted a photo showing himself, Governor Hope Uzodinma, Senator Athan Achonu, Senator Sam Anyanwu, former Governor Ihedioha and others speaking to newsmen at a function some years ago .

The former Governor did not mention where the gathering took place, but a closer look at the photo indicate that it was taken when all the political actors were in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Ohakim wrote on his facebook page: ‘AMAZING MEMORIES: Memories are timeless treasures of history, because every picture tells a story. Take a closer look at this amazing old picture forwarded to me right now by a WhatsApp friend.

‘See one political family under one God. Look at the front row, 3 GOVERNORS and 2 SENATORS. Look at the second row, 2 FEDERAL HOUSE MEMBERS. 1 SPEAKER, 1 LGA C/MAN and  other distinguished leaders. More Governors, Senators and House members may come from this casual photo God willing.

Lets stop destroying one another. Political positions end but memories last forever. What do you think.

Recall that the Supreme Court had on January 14, 2020 sacked Emeka Ihedioha of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP as Governor of Imo State, and replaced him with Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressive Congress.

Senators Athan Achonu and Samuel Anyanwu who represented Okigwe and Owerri zones at the senate failed to win re- election.
